Bout time I posted this! We all got free tickets to Breaking Dawn if we spent $50.00 at Fashion Corner. Way too easy to do! What a blast. We went to Red Robin for dinner then the movie! I loved the caramel apples! Blood and all!

Getting ready for Halloween! Jon couldn't wait to wear Hanna's wig! Ha, that didn't last long!

She didn't like that very much.

Canning!!! I've only ever done applesauce so this was an adventure for me. I live in this awesome neighborhood where all my friends seem to know how to do EVERYTHING. I was feeling like I should get on board with the whole canning world and try it. Turned out to easier than I thought. I still have my applesauce to do but they'll keep till the craziness of fall settles down.

Grandma's house for Halloween!

Well our leaves pretty much stink at our house...or lack thereof so we head to grandmas house for the leaf fun! My kids love it. I guess it's the novelty of things so new. Full grown trees and being allowed to get dirty :)

Hanna was Little Mermaid of course, Hunter was Darth Vador and Bridger was Nacho Libre! He had awesome tights but found out too quickly that if he pulled hard enough, he would get his finger through them.

He had ripped a HUGE hole by the time we got to my moms. We wen't through 3 pair this month. Jordynn was a peacock, Easton a Pirate, and Kyler was Indiana Jones!

Bubba trick or treating! That mask was not staying on long. At least he'd leave the cape on! And oh my, we have SOOO much CANDY. A Brown grocery bag filled to the top. Having 3 trick or treaters, really brings in the dough ( as Jon would say!)

The whole gang! Cosette was Katara from Avatar, which she made! We have a Harry Potter, Darth Vador, Mario, A dead Pirate and Little Mermaid! Best Buds!

The Halloween Parade! A new experience for Hanna! She loves school so much! She hates Saturdays now because she can't go to school. Thi s was a dream for her!

Halloween morning! Didn't catch a picture of our traditional Halloween pancakes but that's our fav. tradition! They were pretty excited to go to school. Now we just have to eat all that candy. So much for trying to cut out sugar in our diets. Maybe that will be our New Years resolution!

Fall 2011

Saint George Marathon 2011! Every year we go to St. George and squish everyone into this little condo.. It seems to be getting smaller! Jon and dad wake up around 3:30am and head to the buses to take them to the start of the race. We wake up about 4 hours later and drive to the finish line for pictures and cheering!

Dad comes in for high 5's and Jordynn jumps into his arms!

Hunter was so excited for his first day of school. Especially because it was on his birthday! Bubba really wanted to go. He wants to go everywhere Hunter goes.

Our Cabin!

Every summer we have a couple weeks at our amazing cabin in Wyoming! It is always one of our favorite places to be and our kids absolutely love it there! This time we did some Geo Caching, hiking, and some killer sand castles! And I have to say, this trip was much more relaxing than our June trip. I was so worried about the fast river and it sweeping away my kids, that it was hard for me to enjoy myself. It was much lower and slower this time!

I tried out our camera timer and set in on a tree! It worked out better than I thought it would!

First, Happy Birthday to my favorite little girl in the world! Hanna's birthday was clear back in May and I have been such a slacker. She is so important in our lives and makes our house a more peaceful place. What an amazing sister and friend she is, and I am so excited to
see her grow up. She started Kindergarten on Monday and I did pretty well until I started walking away with Bridger in the stroller and realized how quiet it was. She was my little helper when it came to playing with Bridger. Now I have only one at home and it's really new to me. I hope I remember what it's like to just play with one baby at home! Happy Birthday Hanna Jo! We love you!Next was our Bridger! His birthday day was on July 27th! We felt so bad this year because on his birthday, we were in Lake Powell without him :( He got an awesome train table which he plays with every day! He was super excited! He loves to be with his brother and sister and follows them around EVERYWHERE. He is talking more and more every day. His funniest words are; "seesee" for Binky, "wawa"for water, and "Ionit" for I want it. He know what he's saying even if we don't all the time. Hunter's Birthday was August 23rd! I can't believe we have a seven year old! He chose to go to the Mayan restaurant with our family and we had a blast! He also got a gun, a gameboy game, school clothes, some new books and stuff I can't remember. I have to tell the story of his cap gun though. So 3 days after he got his cap gun he was playing with it while he went to the bathroom. The middle part that holds caps fell in the toilet. He would not reach in the toilet to get it and thought all was lost...so he flushed. Wow was I mad. It was a nice one too, a really heavy one like the cowboys had. I have to laugh though that he would rather have lost his gun than reach his hand into that toilet. Haha we love that boy! He is such an amazing brother and friend to Hanna and Bridger. Happy Birthday buddy!

Fun at the Cabin!

We are so blessed to have our family cabin. It's so close and we get to go every month in the summer if we can. The kids love it. I have to admit, I've been super worried this summer about the rivers. I've heard so many stories about drownings happening in the mountains. We've been to Bear Lake, Price Canyon, and the cabin. The Rivers have never been higher. And it's mesmerizing. As soon as the kids see that, they are drawn to it. So the Cabin was not as relaxing as I would have wished. I was on edge the whole time unless it was nap time and bridger was sleeping. We did have some good times though. Here's some fun pics!

Every night at the cabin after dinner time, we go for a ride looking for dear! We let the kids sit on the back of the truck on the back roads while were going slow and we saw a huge head of elk and about 11 dear! We've seen a Moose several times! It's one of our favorite memories!

We got Clayton, Trevor, Riley, Cassidy and Sydney! They were all riding in the back while on a drive! That's the benefit of the mountains, not police officers to get mad at us! They also were such a huge help in watching Bridger!

While we played cards downstairs, the kids had a movie night upstairs! They watched Indiana Jones 4~! The boys were obsessed with the similarities between the movie and the Nintendo game! What is it with boys and Nintendo??

Hunter's & Hanna's Soccer!

I feel terrible but I don't have any pictures of Hanna playing soccer. My camera was not working during Hanna's final game. I'm going to try to get some from my sister.

Hunter had fun playing soccer this year. He struggled at first but on the final game, he made an awesome score. The best part was his two hands flying in the air while he yelled "YES, YES, YES!" It made everyone watching smile! It was his only goal, he was so excited!

Hanna's Gymnastics!

Hanna is quite the little gymnast! She loves her class. She learned how to do cartwheels, great somersaults, flips on the bar and do a routine on the balance beam.

Hanna's & Bubba's daily Routine!

I think a daily activity for Hanna is her dress-ups! I was really lucky last month and found a huge box of dress-ups at a garage sale! She now likes to dress Bubba up as well! He usually gets mad before she can get a whole outfit on him so the hat was all she could get on.

Hanna's Joys School Graduation!

Hanna has enjoyed Joy school. Her favorite part was going to her friends house and playing dress-ups on the last 15 minutes of school. They learned a lot about being confident in yourself and learning how to be a happy joyful kid! We've really liked the program!

unter's 1st Grade play! It was the Little Engine That Could! He did great and memorized a whole paragraph! His costume was perfect and simple! Grandma came and watched, what a trooper!

A random picture of Daddy time! Our kids favorite thing while playing at home is getting rides on daddy. Shoulder or Back! Both equally great!

The Ironman!!! My dad did his second Ironman this Spring! He did so great! The Marthon at the end was insane though. They had to complete 13 miles ...then turn around and do it again. How terrible would that be.

I am sorry to say, we all look HORRIBLE in this picture. Ohwell, it was taken at 1a.m. What can you expect?

Jon and I went down to watch my dad all by ourselves! No kids! What a blast!

This is my cute Young Women's group! We got to go see the live recording of a "Good Things Utah" Show! It was so much fun! I feel so lucky to be in that calling, those girls are amazing!

Easter at Grandma Forman's house! Always a great hunt!

The love to have their picture taken! I have to say something about Hanna's hair. She was getting the most beautiful long hair and so was her cousin Jordynn. One night at grandma's house, we were in the family room chatting and we hear the girls in the bathroom chatting. We thought we better check on them because they get into mom's product sometimes. We go in and they're both holding chunks of hair. Hanna had cut off her left side only up to her ear. Jordynn was MUCH worse. She cut all the way to the scalp all over in random spots. It was a sad night. This picture above was the night before they cut it.

I just had to grab my camera when I saw this. This was at one of the hotels we tagged along to with Jon on his business trips! After swimming, he thinks it's the funniest thing to run away from me while I'm holding his clothes... Little stinker.

Just a bunch of random photos at home! Hanna loves her picture being taken. So I had to choose only a few to post of out MANY! Bridger is learning to use the potty but is really slow about it. Oh well, I've decided not to push it!

I heard this funny noise in the other room....SILENCE... that's too weird for Bridger. When I came into the living room, this is what I what I found. Actually he was sitting comfortably on the top ledge. I guess he got bored and tried to climb down by the time I grabbed my camera!

I have to say I truly LOVE where we live. This is our view every morning when we wake up! Once in a while when I can get my butt out of bed, I can see the beautiful sunrise!

Our many Home Depot trips... the kids know how to ride in style!

This is what happens on the way home from long days of go go go. Bridger has his binky while using Hanna's sleeve as a soft blankie to rub on his nose!
My little Mannequin. When Hanna sees a mannequin, she tries to blend right in! The first time I saw her do it at Old Navy, I was wondering what on earth she was doing with plastic arms wrapped around her!!! Cabellas was even funnier so Hunter joined in.

Jon and I were able to get away this spring on a date to go ice skating. We went to the South Jordan skating rink right by the Pie restaurant! It's great because it's free and has cute cozy music playing all the time! This last picture took me by surprise!
Our crazy Daddy! Hanna goes crazy taking pictures on my camera. If you've seen some crazy shots, it's because she's exploring her new hobby. With Jon getting his daily photo, he has to mix it up a bit with new faces!!!

Okay I just had to take this picture of our little Bridger. This is his favorite place to sit as I cook because he knows I will give him the beater! He gets so messy I just have to capture it! He didn't like the bath in the sink too much. Apparently he thinks he's too old for this!

I am so excited for these pics! My good friend Niki was doing a photo contest and I entered and WON!!! Woohoo! That never happens! It was great and so laid back! The kids cooperated pretty well! Except Hunter who is going through a "Too cool to smile" phase. I could not get him to seriously smile. He kept flexing his muscles and doing evil looks. Oh that boy...! SLEDDING

WE have a killer hill by our house! It's not as steep as the hill in Taylorsville so the kids aren't scared! They both got sleds for Christmas so sledding has been so fun this year. The weather is so weird out here though. It will snow one day and we'll be so excited, then it will melt before nightfall. Frustrating. Ohwell, at least we got some good hills in!

Bridger again, not a huge fan ( He really is a happy kid, despite all the screaming pictures I take of him!)

okay so this one happened during one of those church house Christmas parties where the kids run through the halls. he was playing tag (I know that's bad but come one, who hasn't done that?) And he ran right in to the corner of a door. This picture actually looks 10 times better than it did.

Merry Christmas!

Hunter was psyched to get his long awaited Pokemon game!

Hanna got her Baby Alive! Her dolly talks, laughs, sings and snores! She's in love!

Bridger and Hunter got matching capes! Thanks to Aunt Amy, she's amazing!

Hanna also got a big girl bike. She can't reach the ground but is super excited to be a "Big Girl now!"

Christmas Eve at Grandma Harris' house! We did the manger scene a couple times this year and the kids loved it every time!

New Christmas Eve tradition! We went bowling on Christmas Eve morning! There's not too many people out at that time so the crowds weren't too bad and it was a BLAST!

He wanted Hunter's Game Boy so he pushed the stool all the way over to the counter, climber up and talked into the Game Boy like a telephone! It was so funny. I gave him a haircut that day! He has pretty bad bed hair!

Murder Mystery Dinner Party!

We finally did our murder mystery dinner party! We did one a couple years ago in our old ward and had so much fun! We've been wanting to do it forever but it takes a lot of planning so I kept putting it off!

We're so glad we did it though, it was a huge hit! Everybody came so dolled up and in character

This is the finished product! It was all by candlelight. Very 1940's! In the vases were real gold fish! Thanks so my good friend marni, the decorations were very authentic!

What a blast! This will definitely have to be a yearly thing! We'll have to figure out a way to fit more people into the game!

Cedar City Breast Cancer Awareness Game!!!

All us girls headed down to Cedar City last weekend for the SUU Breast Cancer Awareness game! It was such a fun girls weekend! My first time leaving Jon with the kids overnight! I am definitely doing that again!

It was so cute, my grandma is a 19 year cancer survivor and she was invited to go out onto the field to kick the soccer ball to Shelby! It was great having all of us there in our matching pink! We love you Grandma and can't imagine life with out you!

Grandma had a lucky weekend. She won a gift basket from Great Harvest too!!! YUM!
Ok when us sisters get together..we are just nuts! People were stopping to stare! I haven't had that since...hmm.... high school days!
Pedicures at the ONE good salon they had there in Cedar! It was pretty ghetto but it did the trick!

They pulled out all the stops just to get us 5 in at the same time!

What a fun weekend! Just what the doctor ordered!

Camping up at Trial Lake! It was such a beautiful and fun camping trip! i loved all the camping we did this year but i can officially say that I am sick of camp fires. Don't get me wrong, I love the mallows, the smores, the biscuits wrapped around a stick with honey butter poured down the middle... but there's just something about my own stove that makes me happy! Plus I'm just super excited for Fall and sweater weather!

I am FINALLY posting our trip to Yellowstone! I wanted to make the scrapbook pages for this trip so I could just print them off. So I thought I'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone and post the pages! Hopefully they're centered ok!

I have a few more pages I am finishing but this is what I've been able to get done over a 3 week period...I'm terribly slow!

Hunter had a very cool Super Hero party with 10 of his best buddies. He opted for Chocolate and banana cream pie instead of cake! We set up a projector and mega speakers for a super hero movie up in our loft! I have never heard the house so loud!

Grandma's house! We had a weenie and marshmallow roast! Papa is the best slippin slide tosser!

Hunter, you add so much to our lives and we love you so much! Here are a couple of funny things I have written down through the year that Hunter said!:

"Mom, I can't find any mushrooms downstairs, can you just squeeze the mushrooms out of this cream of mushroom soup?"

"I'm gonna go scale myself to see how much I've grown,"

"Rock out dude,"

"does this have sugar in it?"

"Mommy, I like you better than daddy, he makes me do so much work."

Oh and this one was said last year but it was hilarious..

in primary they asked him what families are made of, he said

"um...like bones and blood and stuff, oh and sometimes they build us with a heart."

I am a little late but better late than never right?
It has been a year since this little (BIG) guy entered our lives! And what a joy he has been.
The late night feedings, the carrying of the oxygen tube up and down stairs, the spit up marks on my shirt and the countless drives to the hospital, are a dim memory now that he's a 1 year old! It has been a long journey but one that I have loved so much. I love walking to his room in the morning and listening at his door to hear his little coos. I love how as soon as I pick him up, he throws his binky back in his bed! I love his baby smell ( Yes, I am obsessed with baby lotion STILL!) I love that as soon as I walk into a room, he only has eyes for me! I love his laugh, it's an old man laugh and we all think it's hilarious! I love how he loves the other kids. They love him so much and nothing makes a mother happier than when your children are looking at eachother with that loving smile. I can't imagine our lives without this little guy and I am sad that it is going so fast. I think every parent at some time or another, can't wait for the kids to grow up and move on... I know I do... but I, most of the time, just want my little ones to stay the same. I love who they are and I wish I could bottle every stage up and pull it out when I need my fill!
I don't know what else to say except I love you Bridger, so so much!

What a random summer!

We went down to Nephi this last week and got our family pictures taken! They were at my aunt and uncle's farm and the kids had so much fun! I don't have the family pictures yet but afterwards the kids got to feed the new baby calf with a bottle. It was so cute! Hanna was too chicken but Hunter loved it!

Bridger just loved eating the straw!

Hanna, of ocurse, found the kitty and tried to feed her milk!

And Hanna got a little thirsty...silly girl!

That little calf was so cute. They fed him his mommie's milk from a bottle.

We went camping up in the Uintahs a couple weeks ago. We stayed at Trial Lake and it was beautiful! This is a little path the kids kept running up and down while trying to help daddy set up the tent.

Hunter and Jon like to find all the plants that are edible. This is Hunter's face after one that is not so yummy!

We have 2 pretty awesome hikers here!

Ope, he just saw me posting this and is now looking at me with his eye browns raised!!! ( HE just tickled me under my chin and said "That's what you get!" What a funny boy!)

Ok I think we've been hiking too much this summer! Every time Bridger sees this backpack, he starts crying. No he really is pretty good about it, he just gets a little tired of taking naps in it.

This was on a Sunday hike up little cottonwood canyon! It was the most beautiful sunset and was the pretties rain storm that night!

Okay, this is just a random picture of the kids in the morning! I had to take a picture to what I wake up to every morning! The kids love to see peek and see if Bridger is awake in the morning and when he is, they climb in and make him laugh so hard. It is the cutest thing in the world! One day though, that crib is going to give out and I'm going to have 3 CRYING children on the floor.

Lake Powell~!!! 2010

Hunter Jon and I went to Lake Powell a few weeks ago and I am finally posting the pics from our trip! There are a bunch more I want to get but they are on other people cameras! Mine broke the day we got there :(
We had so much fun! We missed Hanna and Bridger though. They stayed home with our neice who came and watched them at our house! They had a blast though and Hanna specifically chose to stay with Jenna!

This was at some of the Anazazi ruins! They are so cool! Hunter loved this stuff!

Elyse and Shelby were crazy goofy with Hunter. He fit right in!

Jon kicked butt at wake boarding and surfing! He has the knack! When am I going to get that???

Gotta love the sunset pics! We stayed right off the Rincon (this really great place to ski) and it had the most beautiful sunsets!

Hunter had so much fun! Maybe I'm silly for tying him to the side of the boat at night or making him live in that jacket but to come home with my safe little guy, made it all worth it!

Shelby Elyse and I went on some killer hikes! It was a blast and a good workout too! p.s. I'm really out of shape compared to these soccer stars!

Ok this is my attempt to wake board! I got up great but could not get back in the wake for the life of me.

Hunter and I went on hikes every day, he loved this trip!

Being there on Sunday is great because we don't ski or play on the tubes so we have a lot of family time to hike, picnic and just enjoy the beauty! Lake Powell is our fav. trip!

Prep for Yellowstone!

So this year for Hunter's Birthday, he says he want's to go camping! So we are going as a family to Yellowstone in August! I took the kids walking with me just around our neighborhood to see how in-shape they were.... Oh my GOSH!!! We are doing weekly hikes to prepare for Yellowstone!
This is a cute hike our friend Christy told us about! It's in Pleasant Grove up Battle Creek Canyon! It was super simple but still gave the kids a work-out! And it always helps to have some sort of destination to hike to. They loved the waterfall! My sister Shelby came with us and took pictures! She is not our official picture taker! Thanks Shelbs!

This last month went by so quickly, I haven't had a chance to wish our little Hanna a Happy 4th Birthday! She had a DANCE party and invited all her best buddies! Everyone she asked for got to come (except for a few boy, I don't blame them, it was pretty girly) We had 14 kids there total! WHEW! That was CRAZY! We did every dance from the Hokey Pokey to the limbo! Haha, that one was pretty interesting!

Jon's getting the cake ready! The frosting kept slipping off the cupcakes! I was trying to be all good cookish by putting the cupcakes in a baggie and letting the sweat keep them moist. Little did I know it made them slippery! So much for trying!

Well, she wanted a Ballerina cake, This is the closest I got!

THe kids had a lot of fun with the limbo but we just could not get them to bend backwards.

They colored as the waited for everyone to arrive!

Ugh and this is my stupid camera that won't focus on it's own anymore. Anyone know where I can get a good deal on a nice camera? I am fed up with this. This would have been so cute!

So just a side note, we decided to get Hanna's tonsils out this last week:( She was having trouble sleeping and had some voice problems too. She got them out last Tuesday and can I just say what a tough girl she has been. I was such a baby compared to her! I know adults are supposed to be way worse but she was out riding her bike and running at the park that same day! She refused to take any medicine and just toughed it out! The only part that has been horrible is her poor breath. I guess I would have that problem too if I had big scabs lining the back of my throat! Ohwell, all better now and she sounds like a different Hanna!

Hunters Graduation!

Hunter Graduated from Kindergarten this year! We had our doubts whether we should put him in or not but decided to go for it and he did great! We did have to just over some hoops at the beginning with behavior issues but he passed that phase quicky and is doing fantastic at his reading and math! Oh and can I just say he had the best teacher in the world! He's so excited for next year! AHHH I can't believe I have a first grader!

Hunter wakes up on Sunday morning and asks if we can watch a movie before church. We normally don't allow him to but we had just gotten one of my alltime favorite shows from when I was a kid "Rumplestilsken" and I really wanted to see it too! So I told him if we got ready in time then we could sit down and watch it together! He was very determined to get every thing done in time so he went up to the office, got a peice of paper and wrote this:

Okay so I know it's a long way to drive to our house from everything "in town" but you just can't beat waking up to this view! Our favorite thing to do right after the kids go to bed is to sit on the porch and watch the Lake! (ha well not Jon's favorite thing to do! heehee jk!) Anyway, we love it out here and can't wait for our yard to be finished! I'll post pics of that another time, whew, that's a whole other week.

I suppose I should have posted earlier but it's the best I can do! Here's a recap of our lives the past month!

We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Harris a couple weeks ago and Uncle Lane fell asleep with Bridger on his lap! Bridger was so curious as to why he wasn't being moved around, he kept arching his back to see where the snoring was coming from! Haha it was great!

Easter! The kids made a haul this year, I was bad about taking pictures at the other 3 Easter
egg hunts so this one is the only one I got! Grandma did a cute scavenger hunt with clues hid in all the eggs to prizes hid around the house! I didn't even get that creative this year at my house!

Hunter and Hanna had a blast at Easter this year, they still gets very excited! I can't remember when that starts ending for children?! I hope not too soon, they still believe in everything magical!

Daddy son time! Jon took Hunter out hiking the other day and I tdon't think I've seen him so excited (both of them)! They both had their camel packs on and went up out mountain Geo Caching after their soccer game (oh, Jon is coaching Hunter's soccer team! I'll post pics later!) Anyway, I can tell such a huge difference in Hunter's attitude after a little "daddy" time. He's like a different kid. He forgets all tension and whinyness (if that's a word) and decides to copy Jon's attitude of taking care of the family! It's actually pretty funny to hear him talk like an adult, he cracks us up!

My happy Bridger Boy! He is all smiles. Well except when he's hungry and boy does that kid have lungs! But he really is a sweet heart and such a joy in our lives!

Hanna's business trip with daddy!

Jon brought Hanna along to one of his trip to Colorado! She had a blast and was very spoiled. The funniest thing though was watching her sleep. We never get to do that because we're in the other rooms. But Jon put her to bed and stayed up for another couple hours and this is what he watched!

This is her morning hair! We tease her almost every morning that "Ralph the Hair Dresser gets her hair at night!" She gets pretty mad!

The funniest part is the socks pulled up to her knees!

Happy Birthday to Jon on March 14th! It was on a Sunday and one Sunday a year he has to do a show for a company he distributes to....Bummer it happened to fall on his birthday :( Mine was the day before so we just had a full weekend of Dates and fun stuff!

At grandma and grandpa Harris' house for our birthdays!

We used our awesome birthday coupons and got a great date on my Birthday! We love this place, but we always eat way too much!!!

Jon was super cute on my b-day. He and the kids hid clues all around the house leading me to my next treat! He was very creative and the kids loved it!

On a different note, Hanna and I have been having fun trying out new hair styles that will work with short bobs! We did this cool flipsy pony tail thing across the top like a head band and in the picture at the top of the post we tried a french braid as a headband! It's a work in progress, I just learned how to french braid and they are FAR from perfect!

On Monday we tagged along with Jon to Logan for work! On the way home we decided to head out to Antelope Island for FHE! I forget how beautiful it is there! Grandma and grandpa Harris came with us! We had a picnic of subway in a 45 deg. wind and then got back in the truck! Brrr.!

Swimming in Macrh!

I guess we have spring fever or something! We just all really wanted to go swimming so we headed off the the South Jordan indoor pool! It is so cute and has a fun slide for the big kids (me and my sister and Jon!)

The kids loved it! I wish we were close to some sort of public place where they could swim or play. EVERYWHERE is a 20 minute drive. I guess I shouldn't complain, it is quiet here! And we do love it!

Well it's taken us 7 months but I didn't have anywhere to put our stuff so it just sat there in boxes downstairs. Here are some fun Christmas pics at my moms house! We had a great Christmas! Jon and I set a $20.00 limit on each other and I just went a little over this year, actually that's very good for me! But Jon on the other hand... went way over. He bought us 2 tickets to a Broadway show in NEW YORK!!!!! He justifies his gift because he used our capital one reward points so I would not find out... hmm. I haven't decided how I feel about this yet! ( pretty excited!)

Hanna had her first dance recital in December! It was hilarious! She actually did pretty good but right after the song was over, all the other girls went off the side behind the curtain like they were supposed to.. except Hanna! She ran to the front of the stage and YELLED, "Mom, Dad, where are you?" oh everyone was laughing, I'll have to see if I can get my sisters video of it! She got it all on video!!! Hahaha!

Jon and I escaped one night after the kids were in bed to go ice skating! I am so out of shape, it kicked my butt. Then there's Jon who should have been a figure skater/ hockey player for a
profession! Don't tell him!! heehee! But really he is way too good to go skating around with me!

My mom came and picked Hunter up the other day to go ice fishing at Utah Lake with her and some of our family friends. They have one of those tents you can put the heaters in and fish right out of! He was in heaven and caught 15 fish!!! He had the best time ever!

So sorry about the lack of posts at such an eventful time of year but we had a lot going! Most of all the wonderful, yes so wonderful, event of me getting my tonsils out ;( My advice to anyone thinking of having this done... DON'T DO IT!!!!!
It's been pretty terrible and painful but we had to do it now because jon is home for 2 weeks at the holiday time and I needed him here to take care of me and the kids. Boy he's been a trooper. My cute husband is cleaning the house right now while I post this.. should I feel bad about that? I kind of do. He's been so great though, making all our dinners and playing lots of webkinz and nintendo with the kids! He's probably excited to get back to work!
The biggest struggle has actually been keeping my milk supply up. I have not been wanting to eat at ALL because it's just not worth the agonizing pain and normally I'd say "SWEET" I have no appetitie (that never happens, I love food too much!) but now I have this little guy to feed so personal wants aside I've had to guzzle lots of broth and veggie soup. I am able to endure as long as I stay on my Percacet. That is my best friend right now. But for some reason it is decreasing my milk supply??? We have figured out some little tricks but Bridger is having to be pretty patient with me. Good thing it won't hurt him to have his meals decreased a little. He had enough storage for a while!
So in the mean time; Jamba Juice is stocking my freezer and I'm trying to get a couple more bowls of soup down ( Oh I would kill to have chips and salsa right now, The chili's ones are my weakness)

Christmas is here and we are crazy busy trying to make it to every family party, ward party, dance recital, and every other thing that's going on! I love it! But it does make the holidays pass by way too quickly! Most years and I am so stressed I don't get to enjoy it but this year we are doing something different with our kids so I am DONE shopping!!! I have 3 more gifts to buy for cousins and I am finished!!! YAY!

Santa came to visit grandma Holt's condo clubhouse...imagine that! So of course we went at 8:00 am and had breakfast! Here's all the grandkids!

Wow 3 kiddos now! This might sound crazy and not that I am saying I want this anytime soon but having Bridger has made it very clear to me that I want more of him! It all depends on the baby and Bridger has his moments but all in all, he makes me the happiest mom. Major paydays when he gives me his smiles!

Hunter put some real thought into his gift he wanted! This time it was a dog....oh Great!

on the way out he asked how Santa could really tell if he's being good ALL the time. I had to think about that answer for a while!

Bridger is my little helper! They both are actually but they are little buddies!

And this is our new kitty Spooky! The best toy for the kids EVER! Poor cat! I think he's been shoved and stuffed in every nook and cranny in our house! including the toy oven upstairs!

Hunter and his best bud Bryson have been having a few sleepovers lately. I can't believe how old our boys are! They love the tent and the popcorn and their new sleeping buddy...Spooky!

Hanna had her little friend Mia over too just to play! They were watching a movie and of course, they needed their girls tent since the boys wouldn't let them step into theirs

What a chunk! I can't get over his giggles and how fast it's passing. Today he ate a bowl of bananas and drank water from a sippy cup :( He's so big that his tummy handles it just fine! He won't take formula so this is the next best solution to an extra little bit to fill his tummy before a nap!

I don't know what it is about fall but it makes me feel so guilty about how behind I've been about taking my kids pictures!

So I guess the ideal time to take baby pictures is like 2 weeks....uh, I am a little behind. Ohwell, I didn't really want Bridger's oxygen tubes or red marks from them, in the picture.
So I asked my friend Mollie to come over and take some pics for me! She did these all in my living room! She is amazing, I am so happy with how they turned out. Thanks Mollie!

YAY! Bridger slept through the entire night last night! A straight 9 hours! 10 without eating! Now how do I keep him from getting up tonight?? Should I just use the binky plug? He usually eats at about 9:00 and sleeps till about 4:30 so that's not too bad but now that I've had a full nights sleep for the first time in 10 weeks...I DON'T WANT TO GIVE IT UP!!!

Okay I feel like we had a rushed last minute summer from all that went on! So here are a few pics of stuff we missed! you'd think that I would have more recent posts since I now FINALLY have the internet but it turns out... I really am just lazy!

Hunter's birthday party!

Jon & Hunter made this Transformer pinata. He was so proud of it and it was really well made. Jon had to finally break it!

We had the boys watching the old Transformer Cartoons as everyone arrived! At the end of the party, they all migrated back to the show!

The hard part about planing a party for a 5 year old is having boy friends and girl friends! hunter was very adamant about the Transformer theme so the girls went upstairs to play. They quickly turned the party into their own style!

COLORADO!

We went on one of Jon's business trips with him to Colorado! It started in Vernal and onto Grand Junction and ended in Vail and Eagle visiting family!
We went to October fest up in Beaver Creek and the kids loved all the activities! Especially the face painting!

First of all, I want to wish my big guy a happy birthday! Hunter turned 5 on Sunday and he is very confused now as to why he doesn't "feel 5!" He cracks us up! Hunter is such a special little guy and is loved by EVERYONE that meets him. He just had his first day of school today! I can't believe he is growing up SO fast!

Hunter's first day of Kindergarten. I still can't believe he's this old!!!
Hunter had his first sleep over on Tuesday with his best bud Bryson! They had a blast and totally stayed up way too late!... Sorry Christy!

His new 2 WHEELER bike! He won't even try riding it yet, Hopefully he'll warm up to it soon.

As always, his famous baseball icecream filled cake. His Favorite!

Bridger's update:
Bridger is doing great! He is now off the oxygen during the day and only at night so calm me! I keep the pulse ox. machine on at night just to listen and if it beeps from his oxygen being too low then I slip the canulas on, but the last 2 nights he had no beeps!! YAY! I am still pretty nervous about him so I'll keep the monitor on for a while!

This is just a cute pic with little bridger when he was still on his Oxygen.

Now the little man weighs 11 lbs. and counting! He had his curcumcision on Tuesday and has been an ornery little fart since! Today was a lot better, I think the pain is wearing off. Poor guy, I imagine that's not too pleasant.

A Happy Reunion!

Bridger is finally home! We are so excited to be ending these long past 2 weeks. But I thought I should start at the beginning and just give a breif synopse from where Jon left off! At Jordan Valley Hospital, where I delivered, I was able to hold Bridger for about 10 seconds...the best 10 seconds! Then he was quickly rushed away and weighed and examined. He was making sharp grunting noises which shows signs of fluid on the lungs. They examined him for a LONG time and finally at 9:00 pm ( I had the baby at 1:30) they came in my room...never a good sign... and told me they would need to lifeflight him to University of Utah Hospital to give him the breathing support he needed. Jon followed and I was luckily able to leave the hospital the next morning and have had a really quick recovery!

This is right before lifeflight took him. The nurse saw me balling and said "Mom needs to hold him before we take off." Thank goodness for her, tha was a good moment!

When he got there, they hooked him to a C-Pap machine which supports his lungs and gives them artificial air inflation. It was at such a high pressure that it tore little holes in the side of lungs. They call them Pnuemos. Hopefully the clear up on their own but if not then they need to insert tubes inside of his chest to extract the air getting into his stomach. We were blessed, they cleared up the next day but that added a couple days to his stay in the NICU.

The poor kid could not open his eyes for an entire week. They called him Bubba because he was the biggest baby in there and got the maddest at them for bugging him. That's my boy!

Sunday was the first day we could hold him. THE BEST DAY EVER! They also let me try to feed him that day to see how he'd do. He had been fed through a tube throughout the week so I guess it's very common for a baby to not want to nurse. Bridger once again came through a champ! He latched on and went to town, he must have wanted to come home!

This was our first good view of what our little bridger looks like! He is his own little boy, he doesn't look like Hunter or Hanna. We'll see!

My mom and dad came to visit the day before we came home!

I don't know if anybody beside Jon and I were as excited to hold our little Bridger as much as Hunter was. He must have asked about 15 times every day when we could bring home our little brother and give him a bath! It was the best reunion. Hanna is still warming up to holding him, I think she's a little nervous. She'll come around!

Bridger came home Yesterday, Wednesday August 5th! He came home with Oxygen and hopefully will only need it for a couple more days!

I love these facial expressions! Hunter "This is what I've been waiting for mom, what the heck took so long" Hanna- "Can I touch his hair, he's so handsome" and Me- "Be careful, Be Careful, Be Careful!"

Bridger Jon Harris

This is Jon. Here is my first attempt at blogging!

Bridger Jon Harris-It's a boy!!!
We are glad to announce the birth of our son Bridger Jon Harris born 27 Jul 2009. He weighed just slightly under 8 lbs. The nurses said we would just call it 8 lbs since it was 7 lbs 15.6 oz.

He struggled right after birth with breathing and was quickly whisked away for increased care.

After a few hours of showing little improvement, the Doctor & Nurses decided it would be a good idea to get him increased care at the University of Utah Medical Center Newborn Intensive Care(NBICU) Unit. It was hard to see him with all the tubes being attached to him and being flown away. I chased him in the truck and Ashlee spent the night at the Jordan Valley Hospital. Luckily the doctors let her out the next morning because she is doing awesome.
Sorry I look Drunk. It was a long day. Here he is in the NBICU at the U of U hospital. They put a CPAP on him which I don't exactly know what that is, it helped him breathe and by the next day his breathing had improved, his lungs had cleared out a bit, and his CO2 levels had dropped. They told us those are all good things. He is still in NBICU, but is still improving. We have hopes to have him out of the hospital by the end of the week.

Well, I guess since we moved out her to boony town and don't get to see our friends very often...not that I would want them to see the huge version of me right now... but I guess I should post a picture of my HUGE pregnant self. It's always good to look back on those pictures to remember how GREAT you feel and LOOK those last weeks! I don't want to see that picture again for a LONG LONG time! Haha, Maybe I'll feel differently in 5 days! 5 days baby woohoo!

Our summer Cabin trip!

We went to the cabin a coule weeks ago ( I know I am a couple weeks late on all my posts, ohwell!!!) And soaked it up because we will only be able to go once this summer where we usually go at least a couple times!

Jon and Hunter had a good time fishing and almost caught one :)

We love it there, it's so nice to get away and just relax! Here are some pics of our fun little trip!Hunter stripped down to go swimming in the lake! I was so surprised he did it, last year there was no way he would do that! It was freezing by the way!

Okay we have an induction scheduled for July 27th!!!!! The doctor says if this baby comes anytime now that there will be no problem with the size! Maybe that's why I feel so ready to have this one! So the swelling continues and the ankles are getting better. 18 days Woohoo!

We haven't done much since we moved in but I have some pics I want to put on here, just random things but cute pics for memories!

This was at grandma and grandpa Harris' house! They love to do the American Idol karaoke and the kids got quite involved! Hunter would just sing away...not quite anything similar to what was playing but it was pretty funny!

Okay this was a while ago when we went to Thanksgiving point! The tulips were beautiful (that tells you how behind I have been on blogging!) but I wanted t post some pics of the kids! They were having fun together and I think it was one of those joyous occassions before I'm a mother o 3 that we will have out places together! I'm not quite sure how well I'm going to handle going places with 3 kids!!!!ahhhhhh!

Okay our house isn't set up completely yet but everybody's been asking to see pics so here they are! Moving into a house that is quite a bit bigger than our last house has been hard and expensive but fun at the same time! So... we are taking it slow in filling it up!

This is our loft and a huge selling point for me on the house! As soon as I figure out what to do with this space, we might have been here for a year already!

Yay our couches finally got in so it's nice to have a place to sit! We will soon have our shutters, right now we live in a fish bowl...Everybody can see us!

One day we will have barstools I just haven't found ones that I love yet!

So here's our house! Hopefully by the end of the summer I can take some pics of our yard having grass and approximately 3 trees and 4 shrubs...(HOA rules I guess) haha!

Happpy Birthday Hanna!!! I wasn't able to post anything on her birthday and feel so bad about it! She is now 3 and growing so fast! Here's a couple pics of her birthday party we did this year with a couple friends! Yes, I know, I'm crazy! But when you go for three years telling your child..." no Hanna, don't open that present, it's not for you, it's for the other little girl..." You just feel like she needs to have a special day of her own!!!

Hanna wanted a princess party but picked out Dora invitations, and wanted a barbie cake! ohwell, give them what they want on their birthdays right? She has half boy friends and half girl friends so we just said to come dressed up! We had everything from Spiderman & Buzz light year to Snow white, Bell and Sleeping beauty!

That weekend, Jon's mom and dad came down to visit for Hanna andhad Sunday dinner with us! Thanks for driving all the way down there guys!

Here is a picture of the cake I mad for Hanna! I had a castle cake planned then at the last minute Hanna changed her mind to a barbie cake! I had no complaints, being as a barbie cake is much easier to make! It was a hit though! It had a 2 round cake base with a dome cake on top which was filled with Hanna's favorite Strawberry icecream! It took about 4 hours to make but it was worth it! YUMMY!

She must have had a barbie theme going on because she got plenty of princess-barbie dolls! She was in heaven!

Hunter was very eager to help!

I am sorry there are no pics of the house yet, we are still getting it put together! Soon, I promise! The new ward is really nice and everyone seems really cool! Nothing compared to the old ward though! We miss you guys so much! Next week we'll be in Powell and Amy will be staying with the kiddos at our house! I know everyone has been asking and wondering what's going on with our house situation! Well we finally found one we loved and are going for it! We found it a while ago but things take so long in this market that, well...here we are about to close on WEDNESDAY!!! YAHOO!

The house a living room, family room, and kitchen along with a bathroom and mudroom on the main level. And upstairs has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, laundry room, and...my favorite part... a HUGE loft! It also has an unfinished basement that we have yet to figure out what to do with! The storage room is amazing though, that is another one of my fav. features! I am so excited and I'm sure my mom is ready to get back to being "grandma" instead of a 2nd mom! They have been so amazing though!

I looked for a picture of the house to post today and found that it had been taken off the MLS listings because it is now classified as SOLD! I did manage to steal this picture of the house online at a site where you find already sold homes! It's not much of a picture but I promise I will post more when it is officially OURS! Can ya tell we're excited?! It's been a long time coming and I know we were picky but I wanted it to be almost perfect! I say almost because if we found a perfect one...we'd never want to leave! We keep telling ourselves, "this is an investment property, this is an investment property." We want to stick to that idea as long as we can in hopes of finding a house that has a larger yard and closer to the mountains! But in the mean time..I love this house! Soooo everyone say a prayer that all will go well and by Thursday, we'll have a new house!

Yay! I don't know if it's the pregnant thing or what but I have the worst spring fever EVER! I am so excited about the warmer weather...I am pretending the bad weather last week did NOT happen!

Yes, we took out the boat last week. We had to see if everything was running okay and we just decided to tag along for the ride! Notice the sweatshirts...it was pretty cold when you got going 40 mph! But I had to post a picture of Hanna here. I couldn't resist posting a picture or that wedgie she had. We were laughing so hard. It's a good thing kids don't notice those things when you're swimming or boating, I would hate that!

A Way too big Deal!

Okay, I am posting this because of Jon's constant persuading. I participated in the NATS competition this year. Which, for those of you who don't know, it is a competition of vocal students from around the state who compete in seperate divisions, singing 3 classical songs for judges. ( the short version of what NATS is). I did this in march and took first place in my division. I thought...Cool, I'm glad that's over! Uh...not really! I did not know there was a winners performance in April. So last Friday I performed at the Assembly Hall at temple square singing an English Art song (thinking that by the time I sang, everyone would be sick of hearing Italian or German) and it was a good experience! Jon was very cute about the whole thing. I was trying very hard to not make this a big deal AT ALL, but he did not make it very easy by surprising me with 2 dozen roses at the end. That jerk!! haha! My family came to see me and that was fun, they haven't seen me sing since college. We all went out to dinner at the Garden restaurant in the Joseph Smith Memorial building. It was a blast! Here are a few pics of that!

Okay this was my prego self standing up there on stage. You can't see me very well but can I just tell you how much turmoil I went through trying to find a "formal" something to wear to this thing being 6 months pregnant. AHHH I barely have things to wear to church!

Oh! I almost forgot!!!! We got to see WICKED last night! It was AMAZING! I had very high expectations having learned a ton of the music for my students and hearing Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenowith as the original cast doing most of the songs! I was not dissappointed at all!!!!! I loved it and we even had the understudy play Elphaba! It was so good! Thank you Jon for the best Valentines Day gift EVER!

A fun work getaway!!!

We tagged along with Jon this last weekend to his work trip in Moab and Grand Junction Colorado! With Jon's job there are a lot of Perks and a lot of long weeks with him gone and me as a single mom. When he does go out of town, me and the kids usually ending planning a lot to take up the time and eating out a bunch at way too kid friendly restaurants with play places! Well this time...I said, "We're coming!" No Jon loves for us to come and he was actually just given this new territory up to just west of Vail, Colorado! It's crazy, we used to live there and Jon's sister lives there so we will be able to visit often!
This trip we spent a night in Moab then on to a night in Grand Junction then stayed with MaryAnn & Jeff and the kids in Eagle Colorado on Friday night. I have to post some pictures of the resort we stayed in in Moab, it was absolutely gorgeous! Right next to the river and a very nice kitchen, which is a must when having kids with you! I wish I would have taken more pictures but it was harder than I thought to chase those kids around in different cities without my husband there to help me.

This was the view from the front of the hotel room in Moab! The mountains were so amazing. If it wasn't for the wind...which was I guess the worst wind storm they'd had in 10 years... it would have been perfect!

Jon had to drop us off to play for a few hours while he had some meetings. We were supposed to hit the movie theatres to see monsters vs. Aliens, but they had no afternoon showings during the week...lame! So...we went exploring. Yeah, not so much fun when 6 months pregnant! We went down into this cool little forest area and and Hunter was our "leader!" He kept looking back at me and saying, "come on mam!" After that we were all so exhausted we had to sit down to rest for a while. This is where this picture is taken!

We just got these new headphones for the kids (by the way, I will never go back to not using DVD players...they are the best invention EVER!) And they are not in kids sizes. They fit Hunter okay but Hanna's kept falling so if you look close, we shoved newspaper under it to fit. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do right?

When we got to Grand Junction, we went swimming then walked to the nearest place to get lunch! By the time we got back we all had to use the potty and were worn out! I went to the bathroom and came out to find this...Do ya think Hunter's watching daddy too much?! What funny kids!

We loved visiting MaryAnn and Jeff and the kids. It was so nice to have a home cooked meal after eating out so much and MaryAnn is quite the Chef! We especially loved the cookies and

ice cream! Yum! Next time we'll definitely have to do the wings!

Over the Easter Holiday so much happens and so many pictures are taken and I have been the biggest slacker in the world! Here are a few of the things that we've been doing this past MONTH!

We soaked up the few good days we had with Spring weather! It was so nice. We went to Wheeler Farm with our good friends Bryson, Megan & Christy! I think the hardest part about this move has been taking the kids away from their friends. We took for granted how close everyone was while we were there and how we could just run over and play. They are missing them like crazy! Soooo we are so glad to be able to go out and do things with them every week!

The ward we've been going to has play groups on Wednesdays and they invited us last week to their Easter Egg hunt! Noone was over 3 so Hanna had fun and Hunter tried to help...(a little too much)... the little ones with their hunts!

It has been a long terrible week:( of sickies, coughing and house hunting...but we are STILL ALIVE! No it wasn't really that bad, well the sick part has been pretty nasty, Jon luckily hasn't gotten it but the rest of us sound horrible right now! The house hunting part is going great though. It's frustrating at times but really exciting! We have put in an offer on a house we really like but are still looking in the mean time, the market is very competetive. We went to look at this house and 7 other showings happened in the same day...AHHH! Maybe we should have waited to sell our house...jk Jon! (if you're reading this)

Well we are staying at my parents house until we find a home. It's really nice, they have a kitchen downstairs so we are not in their way too much.
It was really hard to say goodbye to our home. I did not think it would be that tough, I was really excited, but to see it empty like that and to have so many friends come by at the last minute for our birthdays, it got very emotional for me. Maybe it was a little of the hormome thing happening but it was hard anyway. I took some pictures of before the move and after, more for my use than yours but here they are anyway. I think the thing that made it so hard was all the hard work we put into the home. We bought it almost 4 years ago after it had been vacant for a couple years and was selling as a HUD home. Great deal but needed A LOT of work. Every room in the house was changed by us. I hope the new couple loves it as much as we did. Okay Okay, enough about the old house...on to bigger and better things right?!

This was during packing week so all the plants are gone. But it still looked like our home!

Wow! That's even weird to look at now.

Well as for other things going on in our life...

The kids really look forward to St. Patricks Day because of the pot of gold the leprechauns leave behind for them! We did fun puzzle this year that ended out in an arrow pointing to where the treasure was hidden. They found it quick and all the gold coins have already been eaten!

Oh and our ward had a killer Pinewood derby "anything goes" party before we left. I would post pictures but my computer is being dumb so I'll just tell you that Jon took the cake on all of the cars! His aerodynamic version of attaching a rubber band to the car and pulling it down the track...kicked everyone's butt! Oh and his car with a huge brick on top, didn't do too bad in the demolition derby either!

Well this is it! MOVING WEEK!
We are supposed to close on the house next week and plan on moving out next Saturday! So...packing has been our main activity around here and the kids are LOVING IT!!! yeah right.

If any of you have any great ideas on how to keep my little guys from killing eachother this week...let me know! They are pretty good most of the time but I guess I usually arrange the activity for them to do. Yeah, take that away and they are at a loss in the world for what to do. You'd think toys had no meaning in the world, they want to help and sometime they can but, well you probably all know that you kind of get more done when they are preoccupied! Actually my friends have been amazing this past week and I appreciate them so much. So I think I'm on my own this week...Any ideas for fun things to do for them?? I will be waiting!

One brownie please...or two or three!

Okay so I know I'm pregnant and I shouldn't try to lose weight or anything right now but just MAINTAINING is a good thing for me at this point! So....I have been trying to eat healthy now that I can keep the healthy food down and swallow before gagging! Anyway, I found this amazing recipe for brownies that I just love. Some of you may not be the "box brownie" type but I totally am into convenience these days and if you can find it healthy & convenient...Double plus! It sounds weird but it's amazing!

This is what you do:

1 box brownie mix

1 can black beans

...that's all!

Drain the black beans and rinse. Then fill water to top of can with black beans still in can. Puree the beans and add to brownie mix. Stir with spoon as directed on box and cook as directed on box! Oh they are so yummy and not "healthy" tasting at all! Great serving of Fiber and protein also! Never thought you could have protein & Fiber in such a yummy treat huh? Let me know how the experimenting goes!!!

14 days of Valentines!

I'm sure some of you have done this or heard of this but I did it this year and it was so fun!

You start on February 1st... 1st day of Valentines, and each day from then until Valentines day, you do or give something to your special someone! I did a bunch of research of different people's ideas and created my own. It's pretty cheesy but the 2 weeks prior to Valentines for us, Jon was traveling a bunch so it was fun to send him with little presents!

I thought I might list a few of them for people if they want to use the idea next year! Sorry I didn't post it earlier but he checks the blog all the time while he's out of town to see pics of the kids and stuff so I didn't want to risk him seeing it.

Day 1: A singing Valentine card that welcomed him to the 14 days of valentines! ( I hung it on a fuzzy heart on the front door as he came home!)

Day 2: An invitation for lunch-for-2!! I got a babysitter and all!

Day 3: A gift card for 2 movie tickets and a candy! (3 things it could buy)

Day 4: 4 wallet sized pictures with him and me and the kids! Just fun ones of us playing together

Day 5: 5 kinds of fudge! (gardner village has the buy 4 get one free!)

Day 6: "You are my sweetie PIE" I cut his favorite kind of pie into 6 pieces!

Day 7: Rose petals!...can't tell you the rest!

Day 8: You are "eggsactly" what I want! I cooked breakfast for him with 8 things of his plate. (2 eggs, 2 peices of toast, 2 peices of sausage hashbrowns and O.J.)

Day 9: An invitation for a movie at 9:00...our house! With a box of Crunch-n-Munch and 2 Rootbeers!

Day 10: 10 things I love about you on a cute thing. You can frame it if you'd like!

Day 11: A picture of our wedding day and how I felt that day!

Day 12: A Papa Murpheys pizza in a heart shape! (this was a last minute one! it was supposed to be 12 love notes...I got lazy!)

Day 13: 13 different ways to say "I love you." I posted them in different languages all over his truck. I also added the cute cheesy windo stickers you buy at the dollar store! He still hasn't taken them down!

Day 14: I was in charge of dinner! I made his favorite and prepared a 5 course meal! We put the kids to bed early and ate dinner at 7:00! It was so fun and romantic.

Anyway, I know it's a lot of planning but the nice thing about it is that you can do it on any budget! I got a bunch of stuff at the dollar store and went from there! Here's a picture of the table on Valentines, it was fun to have something new and different! Hopefully if you ever want to do this for your hubby, you can search it and get some good ideas!

This is the gift Jon gave to me!!! Way too much but I am so excited! I have wanted to see Wicked so bad and now I get to go! YAY!

Vernal!

We got to visit our friends in Vernal last weekend and it was such a blast! We haven't been able to get our kids together for so long because of moves and crazy baby business so we just soaked them up! The kids loved it and got along so well! We saw everything that Vernal had to do. We went to the Dinosaur Museum with them and went out to dinner at a great little Mexican restaurant there. It was a ton of fun, we miss you guys!

A fun family home evening!

I normally wouldn't post FHE stuff but since I print this off, I want a couple of pictures of this. Jon is the most creative person I know! We have been having family scripture study at night so we can finish in the spring and go to Disney Land. We were trying to find a fun way to teach the story of King Benjamin and the tower and had a bunch of extra cupcakes leftover..so the kids had some fun!

I especially love Hunter's idea of King Benjamin himself!

Hanna couldn't resist! Our tower did not last long. You think they learned the lesson? Ohwell, it was fun!

Oh and an update on the baby business:

I went to the doctor again this last Friday and the ultrasound said I am actually 2 weeks ahead of what they said before! That's always good news! I was wondering why I was showing so early, I mean I know you're supposed to show more with the 3rd but, well, I eat what I can keep down right now!

Oh and for those who didn't know, our house has been for sale for a couple months now... and we FINALLY found someone who fell in love with it! It just went under contract today and we are so excited! We went to look for houses today and there's a ton that is changing right now! We're excited! We'll post more when we know more!

Snow, snow, snow!!!

I was so excited to see the rain a few days ago. I thought, Wow! This is awesome, I love the rain! Yeah, that did not last long. The snow came that night and though it was not too much this time...I am getting really sick of it! I think it must be a girl thing or something but I am ready for spring, the rain, the flowers...The works! Ohwell, wishing isn't going to get me anywhere so I guess we'll just play in it right?

Here are just a few pics of stuff that takes up the Winter days!
We had to build our annual snowman. Compliments to MaryAnn who gave us that cute set to decorate him with! The kids really love going outside, I need to be better about getting the energy to get them dressed and undressed after these activities! Whooh, sometimes it's a workout!

My parents gave us kids a snowmobiling trip this year for Christmas. What a gereat gift. we all went together a couple Saturdays ago up to Strawberry Resevoire. It's so pretty up there. I wish I would have snapped more picture but my hands were freezing. I'm lucky I got these. They're kind of goofy but I'll take what I get!

Cancun!

Our trip was a blast!

Anyone who has ever been to Cancun I'm sure has a hard time explaining how beautiful it is in words! I will try. We stayed in a beautiful Resort with all inclusive benefits which means...all the Daquiries and Pina coladas I wanted! We met some great friends there and had so much fun with them.

We went 4-wheeling through the jungle & onto the beach. It was amazing & really bumpy! Okay is it just me or is everyone's bladder hard to control when pregnant??? I probably shouldn't have gone but we tried to be really careful.It had rained quite a bit so the water puddles were huge. We were soaked!

On to Cancun city. We took a taxi into the city to hit some flea markets and shopping. Jon found something he wanted while I had my shopping! He was obsessed with the Luchador masks they sold there. He got one for him & Hunter. I'll have to post a picture of them wrestling together...it's hilarious!

We had so much fun with our friends Jill & Adam & Eunice & George. What a fun group of friends, we really lucked out to have people we had so much in common with, forced to hang out with us...poor them!

It was pretty chilly there most of the time so we want to go back real soon when it's nice & warm!

It was such a blast & we weren't away from the kiddos for too long. I find I'm so much a better mom when I have little breaks like this. Everyone is like that right???

Happy News!

Hello everyone, it has been a while!
We have some happy news. The best Christmas present ever!
We're expecting baby #3!!!
We're telling people really early which we haven't done with any of our little ones, but we couldn't hold it in any longer! We're pretty excited so we hope it still comes quickly and the pregnancy part (at least the first trimester) goes fast!
We were able to hear the heart beat yesterday and that is always the most reassuring appointment just to know it's all okay in there! I am a little over 8 weeks now so our projected due date is Aug. 18th! I am all for inducing so the doctor says as long as I'm ready, he doesn't mind taking me a week early!
We're hoping for the beginning of August!

Next week we do get to go to Cancun though! Jon's work is forcing us to go...what do you do? That will hopefully break up this cabin fever I have! Jon brought home flowers for me yesterday and they reminded me of Spring! It can't come quick enough I say!

So... here's to some good months ahead! No more Nausea and less mood swings!!! (poor Jon)

Temple square!

Okay, you can't have Christmas in Utah with out a visit to Temple Square! This year it was so fun, we had some friends go with us and the kids loved it. Thanks sherry & Abe for coming along! You guys are awesome!

We went to our favorite Mexican restaurant, The Blue Iguana! It's amazing. Especially the "Burrito Grande" Jon always gets. If you finish the whole thing, you get free dessert!

A Christmas Star!

This Christmas, we decided to start a new tradition. We are making our own star for our Christmas tree! Jon is very creative when it comes to these things, I think that comes from having his big family. He is very -think outside of the box- type! I wish I had that in me, but since I don't...I'll leave it to him! Well the best part was how excited the kids were about it, they ate it up!

They both got to help and it was definitely a "hands on" activity. Hanna loves to get dirty, Hunter...not so much!

Again...I apologize for Hanna not having any clothes on but if you have little ones... you know how that is a MUST!

A Thanksgiving away from the Hustle & Bustle!

This year we went up to out families cabin in the Uintahs for Thanksgiving. It was amazing! We were a little worried what it would be like with it being so cold and having the pipes exosed to the 20 degree weather at night, but it all worked out and was such a blast! We all ate way too much of course, but it wouldn't be Thanksgiving without eating too much right?

Thanks fam!

At nights at the cabin, right before the sun goes down, is the best time to see the deer.

We go for a ride over the main road and look through the aspens trying to find them. This is a picture while riding in the truck of the snow outside!!! So cozy!

We had a bunch of friends over the other night and they brought their kids! It is so fun to see old friends after a long time and especially when they have such darling kids! We were playing games and we come downstairs to find this:

They pulled out the bed, got blankets for themselves and turned on a show! It was about 10:30pm so they were all so sleepy. What good kids to just do that by themselves! Well I don't know, if my children know how to do that by themselves...what is that saying about me?!!! Oh well, they're self-reliant right?

This is the best game ever! If any of you are looking for a great gift to give family or friends, this is it!

The bad thing is...I found it on Amazon for $140.00!!! Is that right? Really??? I can't believe this, it's probably the funniest game ever but really is it worth $140.00? I don't think so, I'd rather have a new couch!

The REAL game!

Jon and I got to go to the Real Soccer game for the play-offs a couple days ago! It was a blast but quite the adventure.
It was crazy parking so we parked behind the stadium in an old LOWES parking lot where we saw a bunch of people walking. There was a sign that said "Unauthorized cars will be towed."
But of course, we didn't think it meant our car...so we started walking thinking it was legitimate because of all the other cars parking nearby.

We walked onto a large dirt hill, and started onto a canal road. We saw a bunch of people crossing the canal on a HUGE PIPE! Once we got across the muddy canal, we looked up to see everyone climbing a barbedwire fence in order to get into the stadium. It was insane and with all the clothes we wearing to keep us warm...climbing the fence was not the easiest task for me to do!

Oh well, the memory will be funny someday! The game was fun and here are a few pics of us and my mom and dad who went with us. My sisters friend got us all the tickets for a great deal! We were right behing the goal, it was awesome!

Dress-ups!

I bought a bunch of costumes right after Halloween on the clearance sales so Hunter could have something to wear while Hanna dresses up in all her princess stuff she has. They dressed up the other day and had some good Daddy time. I had to snap some pictures of the dancing, way cute!
