A treasure in the mountains!

Jon has been traveling a bit lately and so when we get him home, we spend every moment... or as many as our patience will allow us, with the kids. Last Thursday we went up the canyon because our air conditioning is out and our house was 85 degrees. We headed toward Mill B hiking trail because the kids can hike it without much help. We had our homemade dinner of course...SUBWAY and some diet coke and water! (Healthy huh?) Well we saw this little day picnic area and drove in to see if there were some tables. It did cost $6.00 but totally worth it. There's a cute waterfall for the kids to throw rocks in, hidden picnic tables along a well groomed path and this amazing playground in the middle of the best rock climbing wall up the canyon, ( So I've been told!) We loved it! It will definitely be one we want to bring the rest of the family to!

This is the cool playground. I just got a new camera so I had to try out the panoramic view! Yes, there is 2 Hunters in there!

This was an amazing moose we saw right next to the road. The runoff was amazing so I guess he was thirsty!
